Judges and juries are put in place to make fair, legally sound determinations in both criminal and civil cases. Unfortunately, in some of these cases, the decision needs to be reviewed. When this occurs, you may be able to appeal to the court to have the decision overturned. As a former judge, I know the decision-making and
procedural process required for a successful appeal, and I will do everything in my power to help you get the justice you deserve.
Appeals are not always possible. If you believe the decision in your case may have been unreasonable or incorrect, the first step in the appeals process will be to review your case and determine whether you qualify to file an appeal. If your case qualifies for an appeal, we will move forward with the filing.
Throughout the appeals process, you can count on my office to keep you up-to-date on any new developments in your case. I will also be available to answer any questions you may have along the way. Rest assured that I will always be open and honest with you about the most likely outcome in your case.
